What Albion Compass is
Albion Compass is a trading companion for Albion Online. On Europe, you type an item — cloth, T6 cloth, T6.1 cloth — and it answers one question: where to buy it, where to sell it, how much silver you need, and what you keep after market tax, order fees and transport. For Europe routes, the load planner does the same for a full carry between two cities.
Where the market data comes from
Prices are community-sourced observations from the Albion Online Data Project, stored append-only so every figure can be traced back to the rows behind it. They describe what players reported seeing in a market, not a live order book. More on our data sources.
What the engine does
Fresh, trusted observations are paired into buy and sell sides, then turned into routes: same-city order flips and city-to-city transports. Each route carries its own capital, revenue, taxes, fees, transport cost, net profit and ROI. Routes computed from prices we cannot trust are suppressed rather than shown with a caveat.
Confidence, freshness and why prices are observations
Freshness is the age of the newest observation behind a number. Confidence reflects how recent and consistent those observations are — it is never a promise that units are available. Because the feed publishes prices without order sizes, executable quantity and market depth stay “unknown” here instead of being estimated.
